Does My Ex Miss Me After The Breakup?

Does my ex miss me after the breakup

Just because your ex is trying to move on and appears happy after the breakup, doesn’t mean he or she doesn’t miss you.

This person merely feels bad that the relationship has come to an end.

Since the last few days/weeks before the breakup were difficult, your ex now feels a sense of relief that it’s finally over.

He or she probably appears like a whole different person and confuses you as a dumpee.

Thoughts such as, “How did my ex get over me so fast” and “does my ex miss me at all?” probably cross your mind.

If they do, the truth is that your ex probably doesn’t miss you on the day of the breakup or shortly after.

He or she felt suffocating emotions prior to leaving you, so your ex now feels relieved.

Your ex will likely continue to feel this way until something bad happens to your ex and forces different beliefs on him or her.

Today’s topic is about whether your ex misses you after the breakup.

When will your ex miss me?

Your ex will begin to miss you when the elation phase runs off.

That’s when he or she will begin to feel your absence and realize what life is like without you.

This, of course, can’t be achieved on its own.

as a dumpee, you need to enter the notorious indefinite no contact rule and let your ex experience life without you.

Your ex basically needs to realize what you brought to the table and miss those good qualities of yours.

He or she will miss you when he or she thinks about what you’re up to and whether you’re happy with someone else.

Only then will your ex think about his or her previous relationship and acknowledge some of the positive experienced the two of you shared with each other.

Your ex will miss you even more when he or she runs into a difficult situation and needs someone to rely on.

That’s when your ex will remember how reliable you used to be when he or she needed you.

What if my ex says he doesn’t miss me?

What your ex says and does are two different things.

If he says he doesn’t miss you, it’s either because he’s angry and wants to be left alone for a while or because he actually doesn’t miss you.

Whatever the case, you need to create space and distance between the two of you and give your ex the gift of missing you.

It’s impossible for your ex to miss you when you’re within his arm’s reach.

Does my ex miss me in no contact?

No contact is the best way to make your ex miss you.

By staying far away from your ex, you convey the message that you are not reliant on your ex and create artificial attraction.

So follow the rules of no contact and don’t reach out at any cost.

Does my ex miss me if he’s dating someone new?

At the end of the relationship, your ex was only thinking about your bad qualities and took you and what you bring to the table for granted.

Another person can actually help you bring your ex back. He or she will have flaws just like any other human being on this planet.

And that’s why it’s only a matter of time before your ex starts missing your amazing traits and gets a date with reality.

Does my ex miss me if I give him enough space?

The fastest way to receive someone’s attention is by removing yours.

So knock your ex off that pedestal and show him or her that your life does not revolve around your ex (even if it does).

Always give your ex more space than he or she needs. In all honesty, your ex is asking for a lot of space, so give your ex what he/she wants.

Does my ex miss me after a bad breakup?

The majority of breakups end in a bad way.

It’s called a breakup because relationships don’t work out.

Oftentimes during breakups, emotions are out of control and words are thrown around without any care.

So let your ex cool off so that he or she can revisit the idea of getting back together if he or she wants to.

How long after the breakup does my ex miss me?

It depends on your ex’s attachment style, people in your ex’s life, the support he or she is receiving, and the type of relationship you had with this person.

If your ex was very codependent on you and relied on you for emotional support, then you can expect your ex to miss you very soon.

But if your ex was a mature and stable person who had everything figured out, it might take him or her longer to start missing you.

It really depends on what your ex is doing and where his or her life is heading.

How can I make my ex miss me?

One way to make your ex miss you and regret breaking up with you is to show your ex how much fun you’re having without him/her.

If you play your cards right, you can turn the breakup around and make it seem like you’re doing okay.

The faster you recover and the happier you become, the faster your ex will return back to your life.

  1. Good evening…. I ended things with my boyfriend because he thinks am not straightforward am always bending my words…. he doesn’t have feelings for me anymore like the way he used to…. I literally begged him for us to get back together but he started giving me attitude and I decided to let him be we haven’t communicated for a 2 days and am really glad I didn’t communicate with him I miss him yes but I would stop communicating with him

  2. Hello, my ex dumped me after 5 years of relationship. At last days she started to become distant and cold, I think it was because I became kinda needy and clingy (so wierd) because I was not like this at beggining.
She always had emotionally dependance on me, maybe she spread that to me I don’t know haha.
It’s been 2 months from the break up, I broke no contact like 4 times… It means she won’t come back right?
She post negative things about me, and things about she wants other guys.
She blocked me everywhere, told me to leave her alone, to move on, to meet other people.

    1. Hi Adl.

You probably became needy because she stopped investing in you.

So right now, you need to leave her alone. And if she comes back, it might be after she’s processed everything.

      Best regards,
      Zan

  3. Hi Zan, I find your blog very helpful and motivating. You can almost articulate a dumpees’ tiniest of worries

My ex and I were together for about 6 months, after which he temporarily relocated to a new city. He broke up with me citing that I didn’t seem to make a lot of effort from my end (though I do not believe so) and that made him stop investing in me after a point. Both of us are very strong and independent and weren’t dependent on each other for any major thing. We enjoyed each other’s company and felt a great connection/chemistry between us. We also have handled tough situations very independently in the past.

In this scenario, is it still possible for him to miss me? Or does it usually happen more when both individuals were really each other’s support systems? I do believe that both of us can eventually find happy relationships but since the break up is still fresh (2 months) I keep getting anxious at times and feel that it’s worth giving it a second chance
